    Cities across Belgium will unite with 190 other countries on Valentine’s Day to stand against violence against women. The action One Billion Rising was created by Eve Ensler, author of The Vagina Monologues, which is traditionally performed in February across the globe to call attention to women’s rights.

    In Brussel dansten op 14 februari vrouwen én mannen tegen het wereldwijde geweld tegen vrouwen. De flashmob op het Muntplein werd georganiseerd door de Europese Vrouwenlobby. Daarna werd er actie gevoerd door Hollaback Brussel, een organisatie tegen seksuele intimidatie op straat. Zij protesteerden in een kringgesprek en met krijttekeningen op straat. Read more

    El Parlamento Europeo recibió este Lunes la petición de 200 ONGs defensoras de los derechos de las mujeres, lideradas por la European Women Lobby (EWL) para demostrar que la prostitución debe ser abolida.
