Asha is from the UK and holds a Bachelor Degree in History and American Studies, a Masters in Transnational studies from the University of Kent in Canterbury and a Masters in European Studies from KU Leuven. Asha has previously interned at the European Parliament under former MEP and in-house consultant Frank Schwalba-Hoth of the German Greens and has co-produced projects on analysis on the European Commission Daphne initiative and legislation on prostitution across Europe.

In London she volunteered for a local grassroots movement called Riverside which provided services for migrant and asylum women. She currently volunteers as a junior researcher for one of our members, the European Network of Migrant Women and focuses her research on human trafficking and the sexual exploitation of women.
