My areas of expertise when it comes to VAWG:
Domestic and sexual violence - policy, services development and commissioning

Key issues when it comes to VAWG in your country/organization that the other EWL Observatory experts need to know.
• Impact of austerity on services - sustainable funding of specialist, women only provision
• Impact of austerity on survivors – welfare reform
• Impact of Brexit on survivors and specialist services – Funding, Women’s Human Rights

Explain briefly your daily work as if you were to explain it to a 12 years old:
I work for an organization in Wales that aims to end violence against women and girls. We work with lots of services across the country that provide support to women and children affected by violence and abuse. I spend my days talking to or emailing people who make decisions (politicians, local officials etc) explaining why it is important to help women and children affected by abuse and violence and how we can stop it. Often I talk or write to them about how they can help by providing money to support services that help women and children or how we can work together to improve the lives women and girls and create greater equality for all of us. Sometimes I also talk to the media about violence against women and girls.

If you could change one thing for women, what would that be:
To be able to live free from the fear and reality of harassment and violence both in public and private spaces.
